Biography

Formation and Early Years (2010–2014)

No Escape was founded in 2010 in Gudensberg by Lukas (drums), Florian (guitar), and Maximilian (vocals and guitar). Initially a cover band specializing in rock anpunk, the group evolved when Basti joined as bassist in 2014, solidifying their lineup.

Original Music Beginnings (2015–2016)

In 2015, No Escape released their first CD, blending punk and metal influences, though rooted in punk. This marked a major milestone. After Lukas left in 2016, Juliabecame the new drummer, and work began on their future album, A Grey So Dark.

Challenges and Resurgence (2019–2021)

Julian briefly left in 2019, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, the band regrouped and refocused. Julian returned, and they began recording their first studio albumReleased on January 24, 2021, A Grey So Dark combined punk and metal elements, earning strong praise from fans.

Growth and Metalcore Transition (2022)

In 2022, the band recorded their second album, Misconceptions, welcoming Moritz as a screamer. Initially a feature, he became a permanent member. Singles like “SireSong,” “Time,” and “Hope” (inspired by the Ukraine war) highlighted their shift towards metalcore. The album dropped on October 10, 2022.

Reworking Old Favorites (2023)

With renewed energy, No Escape re-recorded their debut album, releasing A Grey So Dark – REWORKED on January 5, 2024. This updated version reflected their growth as band. Alongside this, the single “WAR” reinforced their metalcore direction.

Expansion and Future Plans (2024–2025)

In 2024, No Escape launched their merch store and released singles like “Vale of Tears” and “Stand Up.” They also began work on new projects. The momentum continues i2025 with singles like “Your Head’s The Hunter, You’re The Prey” (February 2025) and two planned albums, ensuring an exciting future.
